- This course serves as a professional development and introduction to evidenced-based practices in speech-language pathology and audiology. The purpose of this course is to enable students to be aware of current professional issues pertaining to the speech and hearing sciences, understand the core principles of evidence-based practice, and acquire techniques for interpreting research articles from clinical disciplines such as communication sciences and disorders.
